With the modern civil engineering technology continues to progress and development, the structures of buildings show a higher, longer, more flexible trend, so wind load often plays a major role for these structures. The railway station of Haikou which this thesis should study, is located in Hainan Island which often meets severe weather such as typhoon and tropical storm, it's influenced greatly by the wind force, additionally, because the structure of the station room and platform canopy is with large span, special appearance and light self-weight, the wind load under the action of strong wind is distributed complicatedly, even will controls design, and its relevant parameters of wind load unable to be obtained from specification directly or be drew on existing data, so carrying on wind-tunnel test of the its model, in order to confirm the relevant parameters of wind load, has important meanings in guaranteeing the safety of design of Haikou railway station.The main works of the thesis:Carrying on the wind-tunnel test of Haikou railway station model under the terms of imitating atmospheric boundary layer and the terrain of the site, to measure the average wind pressure distribution of the station room and platform canopy and the pulsating wind pressure distribution of the platform canopy; Then calculating the shape coefficients of the station room and platform canopy and the wind vibration coefficients of the platform canopy on the basis of the wind-tunnel test; Analyzing the characteristic of the surface wind pressure distribution and the wind-induced response of the platform canopy.The main conclusion of the thesis:The shape coefficients of the station room roof canopy and platform canopy of Haikou railway station are mainly negative values and the values of the platform canopy are generally less than the values of the roof canopy, comprehensive calculation and comparison should be taken to get most unfavorable wind direction because the shape coefficients of the building envelope of the station room are comparatively complex;The wind pressures of the surface of platform canopy are mainly negative pressure, it's mainly born the upward suction, and the station room has great impact on the wind pressure coefficients of the platform canopy under some wind direction; The displacement wind vibration coefficients are changed little with the angle of wind direction, so it's reasonable to use the displacement wind vibration coefficients to replace the load wind vibration coefficients in the load code when calculating the wind loads.
