The walking mechanism is one all-important part of Maglev Train, it is the assembling platform of the dynamic components of Maglev, but also an organ supporting and passing the loads. Its attributes also affect the whole train static and dynamic performance directly. Therefore, it is very necessary to consider the curves parameters of the rail, the design feature of the walking mechanism, the vehicle-rail coupling and also the kinematics which will affect the parameters of the structure during devising the walking mechanism. This paper is based on the representative Maglev Train structural's research of the inland and overseas, the curves parameters and the relation of the vehicle-rail coupling form the system are analysed, and then the structure request and the parameters requirement of the Five-Truck are studied, finally, the walking mechanism is devised and analysed theoretically. Its main contents comprise following aspects.1.The main parameters of low-speed Maglev Train between the homemade modal and the Japanese HSST are compared, the disquisitive goal of the design parameters is given.2.According to the relation of the track curve demand, the electromagnetic guidance, the kinematics, the warp of suspension and the design feature of Maglev must be calculated and analysed, by which we can make certain of the parameters about the draw curve, the vertical curve and the relaxative curve.At last, the single truck running in turnoff is analysed theoretically.3.Decoupling of bogie structural is analysed to prove either side of the body Maglev module can be used as two independent entity to analyse.4.Since the railway parameters of the curves were designed, the pose relations between module and carriage are described by different methods. In the draw curve, they are defined by the magnetic balance and the coordinate transformation between module and carriage; in the vertical curve and the relaxative curve, they are defined by the coordinate transformation of the curve and the coordinate transformation between module and carriage.5. The kinematical model for the walking mechanism based on the D-H transformation is established, the inversed solution to kinematics equation is given, and the kinetic extensions of the secondary suspension system are solved through the pose relations.6.According to the parameters of the curves and the kinetic extension of the secondary suspension system, the walking mechanism is devised theoretically. At last, the train 3D modeling and simulation are established to prove the design parameters is reasonable.
