In high-rise building, there is a trend towards providing reinforced concrete beams with openings to accommodate utility ducts and pipes. This can remarkably reduces the store height of the building, increases the useable building area, and effectively reduce the construction and maintenance cost, so it has the good and comprehensive economic efficiency. Compared with the present common structural style, beams with holes have many important advantages, such as better performance under load, less building material and construction expenses, etc. So there is cheerful prospect for the application of beams with holes through the web.This article mainly discusses the mechanical properties of reinforced concrete beams with openings which reinforced steel is not set around in the pure-bending part, and take the influence of the openings set in the shear-bending part into consideration considerably .This paper firstly make an introduction of the research and application of reinforced concrete beams with holes , then analyzes and discusses the carrying capacity ,deflection and cracks of the beams, etc. Based on the past researches, the mechanical properties and the different failure regularities of the beams are summarized according to the data of the experiment. |
