The automobile tractive performance is one of the most important performance index to evaluate the automobile technique. But currntly in the nation, when about a thousand automobile examination stations carry through and Performance the department's Provision and the Relevant standard, they can't accurately, effectively and quickly examine and Assess the automobile tractive performance. Partcularly Assess the engine's tractive performance, because the function of the chassis dynamometer isn't complete, and the examination ories and methods are not perfect. Because a power that is showed on board of chassis dynamometer is just the measure of power that the chassis dynamometer absorb, but the power which is Delivered from engine to chassis dynamometer lose a lot by many factors, the lose power in the processis about 30-50% of the machine mark card power. Be showed from this, if we don't know how much the exhausted power is, then we can't accurately assess the automobile motive, the technique grade assess, the business and vehicles discard examination. Therefore we have the necessity to carry on the analysis towards affecting the factor of the hassis dynamometer's function, and find out a viable way to carry on the improvement, and to attain the purpose to advance the test function.Combineing actual usage circumstance in my College, This paper analyze the factor which affect the examination's function, and find out the method to raise test accuracy.First of all, this paper introduces the importance to test the automobile tractive performance and the basic structure and the work principles of the chassis dynamometer. The second, this paper analyzed the main factor which affect the function of the examination, namely the exhausted power in the examination. The exhausted power include the automobile drive power which is exhausted PTP, the power to overcome the resistance when wheel is rolling on the roller Pf, the exhausted drive power of the chassis dynamometer Pt, the power which is Absorbed Pdy, the exhausted power of the fan which is to make that machine cooling Pw, the power that is exhausted because of the slipping between the drive sheel and roller Ps. And this paper closely analyze the formation, test of each depletion power and some factor which affect each depletion power.The third, this paper analyze the other factor which influence the test's function. In the process of actually installing and using, These include the fault of mark result, the adhesion ability of the roller, roller's structure, the unnorm operation, the own problem of chassis dynamometer, the controlling isn't firm along lengthways and the car's speed is unsteady.At the end of this paper, through improving these factor, there are some ways to raise the accuracy。Using the improved chassis dynamometer, the examination is made, the result of test the accuracy show that the fault lowerto from 49% to 15% or so, and the purpose to raise the function of examination attain.
