Along with the modernization of the industry and the national defense, the construction machinery and military vehicles are high-speed, heavy-carry and automatic. These cases put forward a more and more high request to the brake system'function. If the vehicle's brake is made of single friction brake and works sostenuto for a long time, the temperature of the brake will get high. The function of the overhot brake will decline or lose. It's a danger for a running vehicle. So the blend brake will be used more and more widely in the high-speed and heavy-carry vehicles. In this paper, the research about the function of the hydraulic retarder is done and design the blend brake's control system of certain kind tracklayer.In Chapter 1, first of all, not only the development of the brake system but also the development of the blend brake is introduced roundly, then the introduction about the the blend brake's control is doen.In Chapter 2, the development of the hydraulic retarder is researched through the compare about it's function. Based on lots of data about the the hydraulic retarder, firstly, the conclusiong that the moment between the rotor and the stator is balanceable is gotten. Next, througt analysing the liquid's movement in the hydraulic retarder, the speed expressions and the brake moment expressions are gotten. The analyse on the data of the experiment about the relation between the rate of liquid in the hydraulic retarder and the brake moment proclaim that the brake moment of the hydraulic retarder is decided by the liquid rate in the hydraulic retarder.In Chapter 3, Based on analyse of two kinds of brakes, the conclusion that it is obligatory to use the blend brake and the universal moment expressions of the kinds brake are gotten. The chacters of two kinds of brakes which are gotten through simulation, decide how and when to use these brakes.In Chapter 4, based on the requests of the research , this paper describes brake control scheme. The blend brake's control system includes two parts:the oil circuit and the electronic controller. In this chapter, the design of the oil circuit is done. At last, the special research on the proportional pressure-reducing valve is done through simulation.In Chapter 5, firstly, the paper describes the method of the soft start-up and the circuit used in the soft start-up. Next, it describes the CPLD which is the core of this control system. Using the CPLD, we can make two brake devices work harmoniously through realizing four functions. At last, the paper designs another peripheral circuit.In Chapter 6, summarizes the research of the whole thesis briefly, and brings forwawd sequential work to be done in the future.
