This thesis introduces the development process of a new fuel injection system with high pressure. This new fuel injection system could be used for medium duty / heavy duty diesel engines reaching Euro- II emission regulation.The thesis emphasizes on the effects of important structure parameters, such as different cam lift, different plunger structure, different delivery valve type, high-flow nozzle, etc. Through the performance test, we make sure the best option. And through the engine match test and optimization, the engine performance is perfect and the engine matched could meet Euro- II emission limits.
