With iMParovement of performance of the pre-stressed concrete and the related design theories, PC structures are more and more widely used in civil engineering in China. Hence the study of the construction techniques of PC structures is of great significance to the development of pre-stress technology.Based on the construction of the Hudu River Bridge, the author conducts a systematic study on the construction technology of continuous rigid-frame structures. The general information of the bridge construction project is firstly introduced and then an elaborate construction plan is presented. The light triangular casting cradle scaffolding is designed and used which is capable of longitudinally moving and self-anchoring. After identificating and amending the bridge structure parameters, the finite element software is used to simulate for the bridge construction phase. The deflection under different construction stages has been analyzed. By means of the gray system theory, camber of the bridge under construction is forecast. Tanking into account the deflection of the cast segments, the camber of the next segment is predicted. CoMPaaring the predicted and the measured values, the basically required precision can be met.With careful study and elaborate iMPalementation, advanced technology, reasonable cost and convenient operation are realized in the construction of this project, which provides some useful reference to similar engineering projects.
