With the enhancement of the performance of pre-stressed concrete and improvement of related design theories, PC structures are more and more widely used in civil engineering in China. Hence the study of the construction techniques of PC structure is of great significance to the development of pre-stress technology.This paper, based on the construction of the 66+128+66 m PC rigid structure of the main bridge of Wujiang Bridge, conducts a systematic study of the construction technology of continuous rigid structures. The general information of the Wujiang Bridge construction project is first introduces and then a elaborate construction plan is presented. A light rhombus casting cradle is designed and used which is capable of transverse moving and self-anchoring. A pre-stressing technology with graded and staggered PT steels is adopted, solving the difficulties encountered in pre-stressing construction. With the help of connecting steel pipes, the problems in the course of grouting for vertical PT steel are overcome. Relevant measures are taken in accordance with the actual conditions so that a proper construction speed and quality and smooth closing of the T structures are guaranteed.With careful study and elaborate implementation, advanced technology, reasonable cost and convenient operation are realized in the construction of this project, which provides some useful reference for similar engineering projects.
