It has been proved that it is an effective way to stop the structure side-moving against the lateral loads by setting the stiffness-strengthened storey. When it comes to the influence of earthquake, this design will cause the sudden change in the stiffness and internal force of the structure and thus form a weak layer which will make it difficult for the yield mechanism of the structure to carry out its extending bending system. We have not done much work on the structure about it's reaction under the elastic and elastic-plastic.the large-scale common finite element software SA02000 is used in this paper to establish finite element analysis model according to setting scheme of frame-tube structure with different horizontal strengthened story. Then, response spectrum method is adopted to analyze horizontal seismic power for different structures, and compare and summarize seismic response of period, displacement and internal force of structure with different horizontal strengthened story, and provide some recommendations for seismic design for the similar structure for reference.The finite element software EPDA is used in this paper to carry out dynamic time-history analysis of frame-tube structure with horizontal strengthened story, obtain seismic response of period, displacement and internal force of structure and the sequence of structural plastic hinge under the action of rare earthquake, put forward that it is not an effective way to stop the structure side-moving against the lateral loads under the huge earthquake by setting the stiffness-strengthened storey, but an effective way to reduce the sudden variation of structure stiffness and internal force by adopting the finite stiffness-strengthened storey.
