“Mega frame-core wall” structural system with sparse huge-columns and the str-engthened storey is common used on super high-rise buildings now. In this paper, re-ferring to a engineering application of a291.6m’s high-rise building in tianjin whichhas64storeys, and use Midas software to study the seismic performance of thissystem. The highlights of the dissertation are as followed:In this paper, we changed these parameters, such as the ratio of the sectional areaof the core wall and the huge-columns; the layout of the huge-columns; the depth ofsection and the stiffness of the belt truss; the form of the strengthened storey, to ana-lysis the influences brought by these changes. And in thie paper, we have also makemodel of a frame-core wall structure system to compare these two systems’ perform-ance in elastic and plastic conditions.With the compare of each model’s performance under the action of7degrees ea-rthquake, some conclusions can be drawn, as the following:(1) the ratio of the sectio-nal area of the core wall and the huge-columns has no obvious impact on the seismicperformance, but the layout of the huge-columns does significant.(2)put high and fle-xible section to use is suitable.(3) the stiffness of the overall structure can be effectiv-ely increased by adding a large steel braces on the outer frame.(4) It has similar perf-ormance between sparse huge-columns frame-core wall structure and frame-core wallstructure in elastic and plastic conditions when the stiffness of them are similar, andunder intensive earthquake, shear walls in strengthened storey and bottom strengthen-ing zone have been yield, should take attention to improve the ductility.
