With the import of 200km/h high-speed EMU,it became an urgent and important problem how to evaluate the EMU's safety and reliability.The thesis researched the wheelset and axle-box fatigue strength of CRH2 trailer and expected that the results could be valuable for establishing the standards of high-speed EMU.The thesis researched the trailer wheels of CRH2 from interference fit strength, static strength and dynamic strength.According to standards,because of the differences of new and worn wheel,different models which were applied different interferences were built.Taking the web holes into account,loads were applied in tow directions.The dynamic strength of wheels was calculated in two cases which were with brake forces and without.The fatigue strength of CRH5 trailer wheels was studied.And from interference fit strength,static strength and dynamic strength,the features and differences of straight plate and S plate were analyzed.According as European and Japanese axle standards,axle strength of CRH2 trailer was studied.According to calculation results,the features and differences of the two axle standards were analyzed.According as UIC615-4 and JIS E 4207 standards,the axle-box stresses of CRH2 were calculated in all cases.Then,calculation results were processed and the strength of axle-box was evaluated.According to evaluated results,the features and differences of the two axle-box standards were analyzed.
