The sixth large-scale speed-up of China railway is put into practice from April 18th2007.The CRH2 electric multiple unit railcarset(EMU)which could run 200 till 250 kilometers per hour is running.Because of high speed,the dynamic-load stress of CRH2 bogie increase obviously than ordinary bogie.So the fatigue strength problem of the bogie is more important.The manufacturing of CRH2 trailer bogie is according to Japanese industry standard JIS E 4207 "Railroad car-Bogie-Bogie Frame Design General rule",and whether it is proper for CRH2 EMU in our country needs to appraise through simulation computation and test research.In this paper,the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to carry on the computation analysis refer to JIS E 4207 standards,the computed result indicates that,the equivalent stress of the main bogie structure and important pedestals is smaller than the allowable stress of corresponding welded joint and the cast steel base metal.The bogie meets the requirement of running 9 million kilometers safely.On the jiaoji,suiyu,jinghu,zhegan,jingguang and jingha lines,dynamic-load stress on CRH2 trailer bogie was test and the measured data was processed,the equivalent stress was obtained.Comparison with fatigue allowable stress showes that the bogie meets the requirement of running 9 million kilometers safely on Chinese lines.The comparison and analysis was carry on through the actual equivalent stress and the simulation computed result,the analysis result showes that JIS E 4207 "Railroad car -Bogie-Bogie Frame Design General rule" is suitable to bogie frame strength design of CRH2 trailer running on Chinese lines.
