The three-ring gear reducer (TRGR) is a novel type of planetary transmission device with few tooth difference, which has numerous advantages over traditional reducers, such as large transmission ratio, high loading capacity, compact volume etc, and it has been widely used in many fields. This article takes TRGR as research object, using computer software, carries on the structural design, the simulation research and the bearing capacity analysis to it.First by introducing the working principle and the structural features of TRGR, carries on the structural design to it. Determination about the modification coefficients of few teeth difference transmission is fairly essential task ,which has some limitations, such as the miniumum overlapped coefficient of this gear couple, should be decided ahead. This article programmed some codes to calculate those coefficients by the method of differential approaching . The three-dimensional structural design of the components, the models assembly and kinematic simulation analysis were all built by Pro/E software. Meanwhile, broadcasts the animation of TRGR and simulates the generating process of it. During the process of demonstration, simulates and tracks the key point which are assigned, Obtains their secular variation curve.When bears enough loading, actual contact tooth number will exceed theoretic contact tooth number, which makes the loading capacity of the gears increased dramatically. The phenomenon of increased loading capacity caused by several contact teeth is called the Multi-Tooth Meshing Effect. So, it is of great importance to study Multi-Tooth Meshing Effect of three-ring gear reducer to disclose the essence of high loading capacity of TRGR, increase loading capacity, minimize design parameters and reduce manufacturing cost. In this paper, Nonlinear contact analysis is studied in the multi-tooth meshing effect of TRGR according to the finite element model of gear pair of three-ring gear, and then calculate actual contacted teeth and their load distribution when TRGR is driving.The gear-goupler is the key element of the TRGR, which acts as the connecting-rod of the parallelogram mechanism and meshes with the external gear of the output shaft. In this thesis, the finite element model of the gear-coupler is established by utilizing the ANSYS software for the symmetrical TRGR featuring a phase difference of 120 degree, extracts its biggest stress and the displacement.Meanwhile,compared with the theorical results, veryfy the correctness of the finite element model.
