This research is funded by the State Natural Sciences Foundation MonumentalProjects:“Reliability design method and theory of new type high performancetransmission parts and system”(50735008).The object of this paper is Filtering gearreducer, Filtering gear reducer belongs to involute planetary drive with small teethdifference. This article mainly cognitive reappraisal of filtering gear reducer actualbearing capacity, reduced the waste of material in the production process which due tothe design, and guarantee the filtering gear reducer bearing capacity have been thebiggest play, The research of elastic meshing effect on filtering gear reducer for thepurpose of achieve design optimum proportion of filtering gear reducer, in this paperthe main contents are as follows:①In order to accurately obtain the filtering gear reducer’s meshing stiffness,considering the gear tooth profile curve is affected by the choice of processing cuttingtool, the process of tooth profile and the tooth root transition curve equation arere-deduced. Equation of filtering gear reducer gear profile curve is solved by using thesoftware of MATLAB, and filtering gear reducer three-dimensional entity model is builtby using the PROE three-dimensional modeling software, eventually the filtering gearreducer gear stiffness is calculated by which is brought to the finite element analysissoftware of ANSYS;②The theory gap of filtering gear reducer’s gear tooth profile is deduced, anddiscovered the location of tooth profile on the filtering gear reducer’s gear teeth withtooth gap value has a direct relationship, namely through the location of main gear teethto calculate the tooth gap, and it is converted to the correspondingly rotational angle ofouter gear;③By considering the relationship between the theoretical tooth clearance and theelastic deformation, the mathematical equation of the elastic meshing effect was built.the base pitch error was brought to mathematical equations of the elastic meshing effect,the two cases of mathematical equations were solved by using the software ofMATLAB.The result number of filtering gear reducer actual teeth which is notincluded the base pitch error are3, and the load distribution between contact teeth weresolved. Mathematical equation include the base pitch error due to manufacturing errorof randomness which may lead to the decrease or increase of the meshing gear pairs; ④The established gear model was analyzed with loading contact analysis by usingANSYS finite element analysis software, simulated the loading process of gears, thegears stress distribution were obtained, the number of contact teeth and the gear loaddistribution law were proved to be correct which calculated by theory. The gear basepitch error was taken into the angle between two teeth,3D modeling and finite elementcontact analysis were done which taken the same analog gear stress loading process,confirmed by considering the base pitch error situations, the number of filtering gearreducer actual teeth is4. Also indirectly validated the accurately of theoreticalcalculation which is included the base pitch error;⑤Based on the existing experiment of elastic meshing effect was discussed; theinsufficient was put forward at those two kinds of methods. Considering thecharacteristic that the filtering gear reducer itself has, put forward the method that theelastic meshing effect determined by loading test, the filtering gear reducer bearing loadis increased to the150%of original load rating, and in this case found that the filteringgear reducer worked normally. The gear tooth root bending stress exceeds the allowablestress, which was found by without introducing theory coefficient of elastic meshingeffect calculation, so the view of that existence of elastic meshing effect and the elasticmeshing effect can improved the filtering gear reducer bearing capacity were proven.
