In software This article introduces the design of vehicle traveling data recorder based on GPS/GPRS. It overthrows the traditional data recorder that is designed only for recording transportation data. It combines the up-to-date orientation technology; wireless net and CAN bus communication technology. The appearance of this kind of recorder improves the ability of dispatch and control for passenger transport companiesIn the design of the core board this article indicates the CPU selection, Nor Flash, SRAM, EEPROM etc. and indicates the circuit spread of the CPLD and the USB. In the design of the mainboard this article indicates the accomplish of the GPS's orientation, the GPRS and the CAN bus from the hardware to the software.this design gives up the tradition thinking of single task, it transplants the operating system of the UC/OS-II. The text emphasizes how to transplant operating system and explains how to create the tasks of the recorder briefly. This kind of recorder is already enter the market successfully, and provides successful experience for design of new generation record. This recorder not only accords with the National Standard GBOT 19056-2003, but also includes the new techniques of orientation and communication. This vehicle traveling data recorder will have a brilliant future.
