With the problem of the environmental protection and energy resources increasing,people want to look for a way to solve it.So the technology of the hybrid automotive become the focus.Now,the technology of the hybrid automotive is developing very speedy,it is the trend that the hybrid automotive will replace the conventional automotive.And series as a very importment form of the hybrid automotive and the feature of the series hybrid automotive is very good ,the research of the series hybrid bus is become the focus of people's.The content of this paper mainly to research the matching of the parameter(motor engine battery) of the series hybrid bus.And the goal is to design a series hybrid bus which the power is equal to the conventional bus and the fuel consume is very low.And define the parameter.This paper is directed by the method of the energy saving of the series hybrid bus. The core of this paper is the design of the Degree of Hybridization,and also considered the change of the mass of the bus with the change of the Degree of Hybridization.The main content of this paper is on the list:The first,we research the modern method of the choose of the motor,the engine and the batteryand combine the characteristic of the series hybrid bus ,we define the form of the motor,the engine ,the battery and the transmission.And the second,according to the power target of the design,we compute the maximun power of the vehicle,and according to it ,we compute the scale of the transmission.We also determine the range of the Degree of Hybridization and analyse the control strategy of the series hybrid electrical bus.And follow,we choose a few values of the Degree of Hybridization in the range which had been defined,use ADVISOR and the drive cycle of Beijing city.With every value,we have a 20-cycle simulation.We analyse the finally result of the simulation,and comprehensive the cost of the vehicle and the fuel consumption.According to the fanally result of the simulation,we defined the best value of the Degree of Hybridization in Beijing city cycle.From that,we defined the parameter of the engine,the battery and the generator.With all the components which had been defined,we have a finally simulation done.From the fially result of the simulation,all the design target is satisfied.So we could say,the way which we use in matching the parameter and the result are both reasonable.At the last of the paper,we had made a forecast of the hybrid electric bus,and according to the multiple cost(the cost of fuel consumption and the cost of the vehicle),we analyse that the possibility of the technique of PHEV(Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicel) using in hybrid electric bus.
