The rapid development of automobile industry has bring Convenience to people’s lives, but also has brought great damage to the Earth’s environment at the same time. The environmental pollution and resources lacking of oil and gas has become two significant challenges which astrict the sustainable development of automobile industry. Hence the hybrid cars become the focus of attention to the world’s automobile manufacturers which can give play double advantages of strong power and long driving miles of traditional vehicle and clean and efficient of electric vehicles.HEV’s economy research is also of concern, the ratio selection of electric power are closely to the vehicle economy. Besides city bus is a stage where hybrid system can perfectly highlight its superiority with relatively stable driving characteristics such as specific line and time. So in-depth study the economy of hybrid city bus with different ratio of electrical power is of great significance.Thesis take the12meters long WG6120NHAE bus of Yangtze bus factory as a prototype car, by means of increasing an electric drive system converted into a hybrid bus,and around the ratio of electric power making comprehensive study of vehicle economy.Paper gives the principle of hybrid vehicles economic analysis and the concept of equivalent fuel consumption indicator, and creatively make the life cycle cost as the evaluation indicator of the HEV economic analysis, providing a new way of thinking for comprehensive analysis the HEV economy. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different types of hybrid drive systems, finally selects a single axis parallel structure as the structure of powertrain system of the study hybrid city bus.Also has Studied the hybrid vehicles classificated by ratio of electrical power and introduced representative hybrid buses.Thesis through analyze operating conditions characteristic of urban busand make the China typical urban transit condition as the basis of the demand vehicle power,to analyse the demand vehicle power and torque. Finally, based on the above results to determine the minimum power of the engine and motor, also the parameters of battery and the powertrain. And so has made the selection and match of power system of hybrid city bus, and also got the different electrical power ratio which the paper want to study. Then gave a more detailed study on the control strategy of the hybrid bus, and also in accordance with the work pattern of city bus, designed a suitable control strategy for this study.Paper also use the electric vehicle simulation software advisor to establish the model of internal combustion engine, transmission, motor, battery and vehicle model, in order to imitate the fuel economy of hybrid bus with different electrical power ratio. At the same time has studied the influence of vehicle weight by different electric power ratio. And then to establish the life cycle cost model of vehicle to synthetically study the economy of hybrid city bus with different electrical power ratio, analysed the cost-sensitive factor.Finally, analysed and summarized the impact on economy of hybrid city bus with different electrical power ratio,also introduced the related test bench.The research results have some practical guiding significance to match and design of electrical power ratio and ultimate market target for hybrid city bus.
