This main work of the paper is an important part of one named"Laser cutting equipment of fracture splitting slot of engine crankcase bearing". Fracture splitting technology is a new technique which occurred in this century.To manufacture the engine crankcace bearing in the way of fracture splitting is the most advanced technology in the world. this technology is first used in auto engine engine crankcace bearing.Lots of scholars are studying fracture splitting technology, technique feature, material of the technique, setting of start crack point,processing mode of fracture groove, control of fracture quality, selection of fracture equipment, decision of technology parameter and other correlated questions. Simultaneous, the research field is dilated. Crankshaft bearing caps, Crank shaft flange, Cam disk, Strap, Bearing for printing machine are all produced by fracture splitting technology.Research interactive law of laser and material, grip mechanism of laser precise cutting, and establish laser machining technology of initial fracture splitting groove of engine crankcase bearing and ascertain technological process. It was these theses working primary coverage that we complete whole project design of laser machining mainframe and choice of vital parts.Based on the experimental research and theoretical analysis, this thesis got the achievement on the laser cutting technology and equipment for manufacturing the initial fracture splitting groove of engine crankcace bearing as follows: 1) The method of laser cutting has so many virtues such as narrow groove,accurate dimension,without the abrasion of the tool,high production rate and so on. So the effect of laser cutting is superior to that of mechanical method. It is the trend to adopt laser to cut the initial fracture splitting groove of the engine crankcace bearing.2) The wavelength of laser beam eradiated by YAG laser device is 1.06 micron. The diameter of the beam speckle can be focalized to a very small dimension. And most of the metal materials accord with the law that the shorter the wavelength is, the higher the absorption rate is. So the laser cutting of the initial fracture splitting groove should adopt pulsed laser beam sent by YAG laser device.3) The main factors to evaluate the laser cutting quality are the dimensions of the width and depth of the groove and the quality of the groove face. This thesis summarized the laws how the technical parameters such as laser power,cutting speed,pulse width and frequency effect the laser cutting quality and confirmed the technical parameters later on the basis of experimental research and theoretical analysis.4) The main structure and master parts of the laser cutting machine were designed on the basis of the confirmation of the laser device,production technology and the technical factors.5) On the base of skeleton drawing of systematic transmissionas,design and fabricate double coordinates numerical controlling device of laser machining initial fracture splitting groove of engine crankcase bearing, design and fix of the workbench mechanical structure.through countting, select ball screw assembly, ball slideway assembly, repeating motor and numerical control system. Designing electric machine pad, joint experiment table bed holder witch are connected with workbench and erection joint part of laser cutting.6) Select, fix and debugging work of alternating-current servomechanism, count and select AC servomotor and servodrive,join AC servomotor with servodrive. made general planning of numerical control system.This research has designed mechanism system for the engine crankcace bearing fracture splitting and filled up the blank of the country. This research makes the foundation for improving the quality of the splitting engine crankcace bearing. And this technology is important for improving the motor industry in our country and impelling the industrialization course of the engine crankcace bearing manufacture technology.
