Along with the computer gradually applied in the mechanical industry,the exploitation and the improvement of every kind of computer software,each of which promotes the improvement rapidly of the mechanical industry in the depth and extent,at the same time,it obtains tremendous development to the social productivity.The application of the computer software in the automation industrial,which obtains immense ameliorate in the fashion of produce.The fracture splitting technology,as a new machining technique,was developed in the countries which automotive industry in the 1990s,and gradually applied in the sweeping production.The fracture splitting technology has many advantages,which can not bear comparison with traditional technics,such as:small working procedure,good efficiency, small equipment investment,low production cost,nice product quality,nice constructional precision,and powerful carrying capacity.It is provided with heavy rivalrousness and developmental potential.This technic which was first applied in the production of the connecting rods,had been a kind of standard to measure the level of the development of a country's connecting rods.It have been a burgeoning instance in the field of industry that how to make this technics applied in other fields.Recent years,the technicians home and abroad apply this technics into the field of fracture splitting automotive engine crankshaft bearing caps,translates the fracture splitting machining into holistic foundry,and then produce fracture splitting,but the process is not enough nature.The forging graduate school of JIL IN University based on successfully product connecting rods fracture splitting,use it on the engine trunk.This paper used the computer simulation in the design of fracture splitting automotive engine crankshaft bearing caps,it can dope the performance of the production in the actual instance.It contains many steps,such as mechanical analysis,modeling,model restricted and model loaded,forecasting the instance being about to happening.It is not just in the interest of obtaining some data,while it wants these data to evaluate the performance of the product and improve the product,much better to lead the design.This paper used the 3D software,CATIA,ADAMS and Simdesigner.Based on these software according to their size,it constructed the dummy machine,do a good preparation for the product to be put into production.This paper aimed at developing,simulating and analysing the fracture splitting machine tool of bearing block of the engine crankcase.The main work had been done as following.(1) Analysis of the design scheme for the fracture splitting machine toolBased on the conclusion of the structure and processing technology of the engine block, the design principles of the fracture splitting machine for connecting rod as well as the analysis of the process of the fracture splitting for bearing bracket of engine crankcase,the design planning of the overall structure of fracture splitting machine tool was made,and the main body structure is given a reasonable design.The fracture splitting machine tool design is composed of the Stand Framework,the Engine case fixation Framework,the Compaction Framework,the crack groove Broaching Framework,and the Fracture Splitting Framework.And the liner guide is used between every two framework.(2) The main structural design of the fracture splitting machine tool On the basis of the structural design of the fracture splitting machine for connecting rod, the principles of simplify the mechanical structure,improve the stability and accuracy of operation and design with low-cost as far as possible,six Frameworks of the fracture splitting machine tool were designed,such as the Stand Framework,the Engine case fixation Framework,the Compaction Framework,the crack groove Broaching Framework,and the Fracture Splitting Framework.(3) Kinematics simulation and interference checking of the fracture splitting machine toolThe components of the fracture splitting machine tool were designed in CATIA with 3D model,and then virtual assembled.Kinematics of virtual simulation was accomplished. On the basis of all of which,interference checking of the fracture splitting machine tool went along,and the unreasonable structure design or size was timely modified for the optimal design.(4) Dynamic Simulation and Parameter Design of the fracture splitting machine tool Through the software SimDesigner,which is the interface software between CATIA and ADAMS,the 3D model of the fracture splitting machine tool was imported into ADAMS.Dynamics simulation analysis came through from the steps as follows:import prototype model,set up the necessary constraints imposed by the load,set the simulation time step to simulation.And which is proved by the curves analyse is that the requirements of fracture splitting process on bearing bracket of engine crankcase can be achieved by the design of fracture splitting machine tool.(5) Design of Hydraulic System of the fracture splitting machine tool The main functions of the various parts of the hydraulic system were showed. The force and flow of the fracture splitting hydraulic cylinder were calculated.The pump and motor were chose,and the hydraulic cylinder bore,wall thickness and piston rod in diameter were checked.And the the hydraulic schematic was drawed at last.To sum up,this thesis has achieved the primary design of the fracture splitting machine tool for bearing bracket of engine crankcase,the design is not mature,some structure and technics need improvement,for example,the PLC system shoud be designed in the future. The thesis tests can shorten the product design cycle,thereby reducing the overall cost of the engine,enhanced the system reliability,and which provide experimental basis for the actual production of the company.The application and promotion of the fracture splitting processing technology for bearing bracket of engine crankcase is important for China's automobile industry and engine industry,which could improve product quality and production efficiency,reduce production costs,increase economic efficiency,and enhance the competitiveness in international market. With the development of mechanical industry,China's automobile parts industry would develop greatly,the fracture splitting bearing bracket in engine would enhance too,therefore the fracture splitting bearing bracket of engine crankcase will have a significant development in domestic market.
