Mass metro become more and more important in the modern city with the deterioration of traffic contamination and the reinforcement of the crisis of environment. at the same time ,it take higher command to designers and operators in mass metro. Further more, CBTC is the mainstream in mass metro signal system with the fast development of computer and communication technology. therefore ,in order to make diagram reasonably and improve the operation quality, this paper provides useful information about operation for designers and operators by studying the train movement.Firstly, the paper research the powers to the train and the calculation of the powers basis of traction calculation and signal particle. Then ,it builds models and arithmetic with the target of least time and economy.Secondly, the paper achieves above model and arithmetic by computer simulation based on the civil data and train information of Line Two in ShangHai mass metro. It proves the reliability in calculating the section operating time by the way of researching the simulation result of Line Two, linking to actual operation.Thirdly, the paper introduces the development of mass metro signal system and analyses the strongpoint and theory of CBTC. And then it studies the relationship between the head train and behind train under the CBTC.At last, based on above all, it builds model and arithmetic of the pursuit of trains under the CBTC combining the analysis of MB-V mode in CBTC. And it testifies the function and reference value of section capacity by the simulation results.
