Asphalt stabilized stone base course is different from semi- rigid base course for its higher shearing strength, anti- draught intensity and weary-resistance performance; meanwhile, shrinkage and moisture damage is not easy to happen in asphalt stabilized stone base course, moreover both its structure and modulus are similar to surface course, thus it can bind tightly asphalt concrete surface course and cause stress and deformation in the pavement structure to be more coordinated. Despite widely used abroad ,research on asphalt stabilized stone base course is still at the very beginning in China for worrying that the thicker asphalt pavement is, the worse its anti- wheel rutting performance is. Thus, asphalt pavement with asphalt stabilized stone base course is cautiously applied in our country. Accordingly, research on the asphalt stabilization stone base course and its pavement structure performance is carried on in the paper.At first , large scale Marshall test find the best oil-stone ratio of the asphalt-treated macadam。The second, rutting experiment indicates the least deformation near the middle grade all over the asphalt-treated macadam.The first, the cylinder form sample impacted with the best oil -stone ratio and the bulk density,in order to be done by the single-axle dynamic and static creep test; The creep modulus tokens the ability of the flowing deformation during the high temperature condition,which indicates the least deformation near the middle grade all over the asphalt-treated macadam.Finally, stress are computed to two pavement structure models,and bearing capacity is estimated,at the same time bearing capacity distribution is analysed by SAMDM software.At the same time, the research is carried about the construction craft of the stable crushed stones base.
