Cable-stayed bridge is a compounded structure system , which it tower and girder bearing axial pressure and sag bearing pull. The different connect form of tower with girder can bring different capability. With the increase of the span of cable-stayed bridge,it tower become taller and it girder tend to be thiner. As a result the axial pressure of the tower and girder increase sharply.Furthermore, the effects of sag and the geometric nonlinearity and the material nonlinearity increase apparently. These disadvantageous factors of cable-stayed bridges lead the safety and the effects of force in different situation become more and more important. This paper expatiated non-linear theory of cable-stayed bridges ,and applyed the detailed analysis and study of force and displacement and stability in different occasions of Chongqing Fengjie Yangtze River Highway Bridge, which is a long-span prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge and the problem above is very important. The paper educed reasonable structure system of long Cable-stayed bridges.Thereby, this provides practical reference for design, construction and scientific research of long-span cable-stayed bridges.
