Aims at the situation of low Power Factor and high THD of the induction heating system, this paper bases on the real parameters of one 100kW/400kHz system, first, makes a detail theory analysis about the Power Factor on power side when the system in situation of three special load; second, builds a simplify simulation system of induction heating system, makes a particular research about the change rule of the reactive power and the current wave harmonics when the heating equipment is in the case of constant load and designs a TSF+LC compensate project bases on the identity of reactive power and current wave harmonics of it, then builds a simulation model of TSF+LC compensator ,a serious experiment has been done through it, simulation results shows that when the output active power changes from 30kW to 100kW, the TSF+LC compensator can dynamic compensate the power factor of line side to greater than 0.90, but never over compensate, and the THD also falls down; lastly, makes relevant design and debug about hardware and software.
