With the expansion of the scale power system, the stability of the power system more and more prominent, this paper improve power system stability of the hydraulic turbine governor system robust control methods. Because hydraulic turbine governor system time constant Tw existence of uncertainty, the measurable disturbance,ΔPe, is used state feedback., using H∞robust control theory, the adaptation Tw parameter uncertainty of the hydraulic turbine governor additional mixed robust control methods (HGAMRC). Moreover, the hydraulic turbine opening of the water gate there is a certain scope, we study the hydraulic turbine governor system additional nonlinear robust control methods (HGANRC) for input-constrained. In the process of solving the robust control problem, a new approach is presented in the paper based on linear matrix inequalities (LMI) on the robust control system. Simulation results show that: HGAMRC has still good inhibitory effect forΔPe When Tw parameter changes; HGANRC has good continuity for the regulation of the water gate with the lmited opening of water gate. HGAMRC and HGANRC can effectively improve the hydro-generator and the power system stability.
