With the vigorous development of hydropower industry in China,some governors that were put into operation earlier in some hydropower plants have reached the end of their service life and need to be upgraded.They not only need to be upgraded in hardware,but also need to improve the control methods in software to solve the engineering problems that affect the quality of control.This paper aims to transform and design the governor of 25 MW unit of the Mahui Power Station.In the program design,the improvement direction of the control method is determined by two major engineering problems.In this paper,the improved control method is validated by the simulation method closest to the actual project,and the final solution is obtained.Subsequently,the final solution is applied to the scheme design of governor in the Mahui Power Station,the design of governor is completed,and field debugging and testing are carried out.The main research is as follows:Firstly,this paper gives a brief introduction to the simulation platform and the mathematical model of the controlled object used by the governor control method research.Use the governor programming development software Automation Studio as the simulation platform,and use the model that is generally accepted by the governor designer as the mathematical model of the controlled object.Secondly,this paper summarizes the control methods commonly used in industrial control and mainly popular control strategies in theoretical research.For the problem one-the industrial PED control with fixed parameters is difficult to adapt to the changing all operating conditions,this paper adopts a control method combining variable parameter PID control and fuzzy control to solve.For the problem two-the limited speed of the actuator can easily lead to controller saturation,this paper uses the Anti-windup based PID control method to solve.Thirdly,the above improved control method is compared with the industrial PID control of the fixed parameters,and then the simulation analysis is carried out.The results show that the improved control method can effectively solve the above two engineering problems,improve the overall control quality of the governor,and provide a feasible control scheme for the governor programming.Finally,for the design of governor of the Mahui Power Station,this paper briefly introduces the design of mechanical hydraulic servo system and electrical cabinet,and the final control scheme is applied to the program design of frequency,opening and power regulation,and the design of the governor is completed.After the governor assembly is completed,field debugging and testing are carried out.The test results show that all the performance indexes of the governor meet the design requirements,so the control scheme and design are feasible and effective.
