With the quickly extending of the power system, the relay protection will play a more and more important role in power system protection, which put forward higher requirement of microprocessor relay protection. In addition, the developments of microelectronics technique, computer technology and communication technique give the best chances and possibility to enhance and optimize microprocessor relay protective devices. So, the thesis presents a new kind of vast embedded memory single-chip solution based microprocessor relay protective device.The single-chip relay protective solution is the key idea of an"integrated distributed"embeds vast memory control system approach. The hardware system of single-chip solution provides application area optimized computation performance and embedded storage resources for the system developers using microprocessor relay protection. The cornerstones of the methodology are the"meet-in-the-middle"and SoC-based concept. In depth studying of microprocessor relay protection integrates various approaches of network-communication, redundancy-design, and anti-electromagnetic interference based on the module reusing. And, the key function modules'design has more details in this thesis.With an engineering perspective, the thesis analyses the hardware platform and relay protection equipments based on the single-chip microcomputer solutions can be applied to the protection and HV transmission line, UHV transmission line protection.
