A suddenly power failure always cause bad effect on normal life and industry production. It may cause the heavy economic loss for some important users. So the high quality Emergency Power Supply system (EPS) is necessary to people's life and production for emergency situation.In this thesis, the necessity and importance of high-powered EPS are discussed. The development and studying quo of EPS is introduced. The characteristics and functions of the EPS from domestic and overseas are analyzed. The output and control method of the power inverter are the key parts of this thesis.The hardware design of EPS is based on TI's TMS320LF2407, which fits to realize the inverter with out put voltage controlled . The scheme of system is shown in the thesis. The software design of this system is divided into the DSP control software and the MCU control software. The methods for different parts programming are introduced and software flow diagrams are presented. At the end, experiment results are presented as well as being analyzed briefly.
