Facing the world energy crisis, it is necessary to study on the energy-conservation in buildings, especially in the residential buildings. Today, many countries have thought highly of the energy-conservation in buildings. China began to advance this work in 1980's and make some progress, however, most of the achievements were made in the city of the plain area, and there is still little study based on the local condtions on the energy-conservation in mountainous area. Following the developing of the modernization, constructing in mountainous area which is account for two thirds of the total territory area, became more and more, and the energy consumption was increased step by step. How to realize the energy-conservation in the residential buildings in moutainous area, and how to protect the entironment in the moutainous area have become a researching realm needed to be solved.In the paper, Qian xi county Tang shan city "Feng Ze Jia Yuan"housing estate which lies in the mountainous area was chosen as a object. Through the method of combing the theoty and the practice, the followings will be studied.(1) On the basis of the study status quo of the energy conservation in mountainous area at home and abroad, combining with China's traditional the appropriate energy-saving technologies in aboriginal residential areas, considering the diversity of the instability of the influence factors, including the geographical and climatic factors, using the planning method and the monomer design method, the energy conservation design measures were brought forward from: the construction site, the orientation, the spacing, the layout, the virescence, windbreak, temperature damper, the radio of windows area to walls area, the shape coefficient, the external structure, in order to build energy conservation and local color modern residential buildings in the mountainous area. Using RBF (Radial Basis Function) theory, on the basis of the abundance reliable energy conservation data, the energy consumption forecast model was eatablished, and with a view to energy-saving residential buildings in the early stages of design options provide a simple, quick and accurate reference.(2) The ways and strategy of the existing building energy conservation will be brought forward. In consideration of China's most comprehensive geographic and economic conditions in the mountainous area, the scope, the principle, and the technology of the energy-conservation reconstruction to the existing building in moutainous area will be brought forward by the abundance analysis and investigation, and two major areas, including financing and reconstruction measure, will be studied.(3) It is a effective way to promote energy conservation that promoting the renewable energy in the field of energy conservation in mountainous residence. Combining with the geographical features, the relationship between solar source water-heating systems and architectural will be established, the economic feasibility and the requirement of Solar Photovoltaic lighting system will be studied, and the applications of the terrestrial heat in shallow will be preliminary studied.(4) Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth. By analysis of the selected objects,the design method of the energy conservation in the preceding in the article is demonstrated. The feasibility of water source heat pump system in the project, the design method, the economy, the social factor, the environmental factor and the prospects were introduced.
