With the continuous development of automation and detection technology, sensors play an increasingly important role. This is largely stimulated people actively developing sensor products based on different principles or new material. As an important branch of sensor, Acceleration sensor is of vital importance for the research on the movement.Magnetic fluid is a new type of nano-material. It is the only super-paramagnetic material which can be exist at room temperature in the presence. It has the flow property of liquid and the magnetic property of magnetic materials. Application of magnetic fluid acceleration sensor is a new subject in the country, which is of great significance for the development of new sensor. The main work of this thesis are as follows:(1) The levitation theories those are magnetic object and non-magnetic object levitation theory made by Rosensweig were analyzed;(2) Acceleration sensors were used by the basic principles to identify similarities and differences between magnetic fluid acceleration sensor and ordinary acceleration sensors through the analysis;(3) The final experimental program was made to through the comparison of the various options, and the design ideas in the theoretical and experimental aspects were demonstrated;(4) The processing of the signal of the sensor was understood through the research on simulation and experimental of external circuit of the sensor, also the main factors which can impact performance parameters of the sensor were found;(5) Finally, the exist problem was found and analyzed through the research of the experimental model, which can be the next step of research. This subject has made great progress in theoretical and experimental research.Through this paper, hoping that more researchers will join into this study to fill this gap in our country.
