The high voltage direct current (HVDC)transmission system has been extensively applied in the capacity of long-distance transmission,the seabed cable transmission,the AC system non-synchronous contact between the same frequency rated or different frequency rated.It has become one basic principles of the 21st century's power industry development. Nowadays, Three Gorges power station power transmitting of our country is constructed actively, the large-scale hydroelectric stations in western are prepared to establish ,large amount western power delivers to the eastern , and large region high voltage power grid interconnection ,which are suitable for adopting HVDC transmission line. Direct current power transmission is good in our country's prospects for development.For the effect of high-capacity nonline load, the AC and DC side of the DC transmission exsist a large of harmonic and reactive power.So effectively carry out harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation has been occupied important position. Based on the above harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation issues, this paper put forward a novel inductive filtering method, which is different from the traditional passive filter and is different from active filtering methods,and then focus on research work.This paper has three major composition: The first part of the first two chapters introduced DC transmission's present and improvement trend; Pointed out the current power system harmonics pollution problems as well as the development of harmonic suppression overview; Analysised the HVDC system harmonic generation,harm and suppression measures; Expounded various types of power filter:passive filter, APF and mixed type APF and their respective advantages and disadvantages, their use of the limitations and conditions.The second part include the third and the four chapters, mainly discussed the novel converter transformer and corresponding inductive filtering technique,which uses the transformer's amper-turn balance and full-tunable Passive filter device to achieve reactive power compensation and harmonic shielding; And introduced the novel filtering method's technique characteristic and dominance,such as inductive filtering's wiring mode,coupling action and harmonic shielding;and then gave out the transformer's impedence condition and its filters'turned condition. Based on the novel DC transmission system's, to get out the systems'harmonic transfer characteristic, to provide an important design parameter of full-tunable filter design.The third part was the fifth chapter, to validate the superior filtering effect of the inductive filtering technique,by comparing the novel DC transmission system simulation results and experimental platform for dynamic modulus test results,at the same time this method realizes harmonic shielding and reactive power compensation at the transformer's secondary side. Opened out the superiorities of the novel filtering method and the novel converter transformer transmission system.
