With the development of the science and technology, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has been widely developed and applied, especially in the fields requiring high precision and high reliability, such as national defense, aviation, astronautics, numerically-controlled machine tools, processing center, robots and so on. And it also holds the pivotal status in the modem alternating current motors.The design of traditional PMSM controller general requests the precise understanding of system parameter in order to carry on the control rule. However, in the actual operation, the system parameter will be constantly changed. In order to guarantee the fine system performance, Corresponding adjustments to the controller must be carried out. Intelligent control strategies such as fuzzy control have the merit of not relying on the object mathematical model and having strong robustness, and it can overcome uncertainties in the servo system such as parameter changes and non-linear changes, thus it can realize good controlling performance of the system.Some PMSM intelligence control methods are researched in this thesis. First, under the different coordinate system, the PMSM mathematical model is established, and the control diagram of electrical machinery velocity modulation system is introduced. Then in view of the PMSM PID control insufficiency, the fuzzy control method, the self-adjustment fuzzy control method, the CMAC study control method and the fuzzy inference neural network adaptive control method of PMSM are designed respectively. This thesis has also established the PMSM control system simulation model with MATLAB/SIMULINK; and for each intelligence control method, the simulation analysis is carried on. The simulation results indicate that the designed PMSM intelligence control methods have better dynamic performance and stronger robustness.
