Firstly, the basic strengthening mechanism of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) were discussed in detail , combined with the forced situation of steel fiber in the actual pavement, analysis of stress transfer mechanism in fiber concrete under pull and pressure, the progress of forced fiber in concrete become clearly and directly, provide stronger theoretical foundation for analyzing the distribution of stress and designing the construction of pavement in tunnel, it is necessary to consider the effection of gravity and toward wall of steel fiber, for the important effection of distribution and direction of steel fiber to its mechanics character.Secondly, orthogonal test were used to design the mix proportion for choosening material of SFRC, toughening was suggested to be another index for considering the character of SFRC, except compression and resist breaking.Thirdly, the structure design and the joint of pavement of SFRC was studied in the tunnel, and finite element software ANSYS was applied to the simulation analysis of the two different kinds of the joint, simulation analysis and checking results after construction show the design of the displace of 80cm between the dowel bars in the pavement of SFRC is reasonable.At last, SFRC were applied to six tunnel pavements in the highway from Meizhou to Heyuan. The checking results indicated that SFRC can provide better stressing properties such as crack resistance,bending resistance, anti-fatigue.the pavement of SFRC not only can reduce kinds of cracks effeciently and postpone the apperance of crack to porlong the life of the structure, but also can strengthen the link intension of the structure of pavement and widen the space between two contraction joints to make the whole structure more safety, economical and comfortable.
