The Ultra-supercritical steam turbine of 600MW will be the main units of the development of our country's power plant, the main stop valve is one of the most important part in the new design because of the high working temperature and pressure . On demand of safety and low resistance,so the rationality of the structural is the emphases of this paper. The paper calculates the flow rate of the valve and gets the aerodynamic performances of the ultra-supercritical valve. And also, the paper analyses some structure parameters which affect the aerodynamic performances of the valve, then gains the reasonable structure. According to the calculation of the main stop valve's temperature field and stress field, the paper gains the total stress under different conditions of pressure and thermal. For analyzing the instantaneous impact of the valve disk and valve seat when the valve is fast closed, the paper gains the stress of the valve impact in different velocity and different equality. The results are consistent compared with the conventional calculated way.Through the study of this paper, we get the intensity level of the design at present and can be improved to keep the safety of the unit. Optimized and improved the aerodynamic performances of the valve to ensure that the valve will have a low losing level of the ultra-supercritical steam turbine of 600MW.
