The silo as the equipment which stores the disperses shape material, has the merits such as structure simple, easy to operate, protection environment and reduced occupying land area and so on. Following the social economy development and the science and technology progress, the silo application is getting more and more widespread from the grain, the building materials, the metallurgy, the coal to the electric power profession.In 1995, as the World Bank loan items of basic construction, the large-squat-silo for the first time introduced from the overseas, and by its merits such as big capacity, the small area, the low-cost ton stores the construction, easy to realize mechanized work and so on, obtained the massive applications in our country. However, the anti-earthquake research of the silo structure in our country mainly concentrated at deep silos (the ratio of height to diameter more than 1.5 silos), which did few research regarding the dynamic characteristic of the large-squat-silo structure and the stochastic earthquake responds. Therefore, the large-squat-silo as took obtains the massive application in our country Industry and agriculture Enterprise, conducts the thorough earthquake resistance research to it appears especially essential and urgent. And this research regarding guarantees our country energy security strategy realization, reduces the economic loss of our country industry, the agriculture as well as the energy enterprise under the earthquake harm, and guarantees the energy security effective supplies after the earthquake burst characteristics disaster have the extremely vital significance.This article takes the large-scale finite element software ANSYS as the foundation, uses the finite element numerical simulation method, considers the different stores-material operating mode, constructs to one in II kind of field farmlands, 8 degree earthquake resistance fortification area, diameter 50m, the high 25m reinforced concrete large-squat-silo carries on the static analysis and the dynamical earthquake responds analysis, discusses this kind of structure's dynamic response characteristic and the general rules under the earthquake function. Mainly is: Take the shell unit as the foundation, establish the reinforced concrete large-squat-silo's ANSYS finite element analysis model, and carry on the static finite element analysis to it, obtain the reinforced concrete large-squat-silo's stress, strain and distortion distributed rule when the silo is full, draw up the corresponding concrete stress cloud charts and the structure distorts distribution curves, and discover this kind of structure's stress-weak-position; Use the time interval analytic method, input El-Centro earthquake wave, Taft earthquake wave, and artificial earthquake wave, carry on the dynamical finite element analysis to the reinforced concrete large-squat-silo, obtain the crown of the structure displacement time interval curve under earthquake function, discover the time which the biggest displacement occurs, and draw up the whole structure distortion chart and the whole structure stress chart in this time, discuss this kind of structure's internal force change rule and the dynamic response characteristic under the earthquake function. Provide the theory basis for this kind of structure earthquake resistance design.
