Reinforced concrete have been widely used in industrial and agricultural production with its advantage such as large capacity silo and occupying a small area and easy to mechanical work and Operation Costs Low. With the design and construction techniques becoming more mature, silos have been great improved in its diameter and height. However the stressed state of large diameter silo thermal stress as well as load-storage material load static force coupling analysis have not been adequately researched. Based on a project of large diameter concrete shallow circular clinker silo, the author principally carry out a research.First, though the principle of steady heat transfer we can sure the thermal conductivity of silo roof and silo wall. When cement reach thermal equilibrium state, the quantity of heat to send out every day from silo roof and silo wall is equal to the cement clinker release quantity of heat, and through it we can calculate the silo wall surface temperature of the inside and outside.Second, by using finite element analysis software ANSYS to establish calculation model of silos and to thermal analysis, call the results of thermal analysis to structure analysis and get temperature stress on the condition of empty silo and full silo.Third, According to code for design of reinforced concrete silos, we can calculate the load of silo wall.In accordance with the details of code for design of reinforced concrete silo, some appropriate calculation parameters are conscientiously selected and silo static analysis of overall structure in storage load has been carried out. Finally, in order to consider the influence of silo roof to silo wall on the condition of empty silo and full silo, we use ANSYS to set up two silo models having roof and no roof. The results indicate that the influence of silo roof to the wall can be ignored.
