Short-leg shear wall strucrure is a new type of structure system, which includes the advantage of shear wall and reinforced concrete frames structure. It not only provides better economic benefits and competences but also easily realizes to save energy. At present, these advantages make this type of structure system popularize in all over the no-earthquake of our country. It is liked by the builder and possesses expansive prospect. But owing to the time of this of structure system provided, method of planning and analysis of mechanical model for short-leg shear wall is not perfect and is short of detailed theory study. These problems will be solved in the future. The design of short-leg shear wall structure mainly refers to have bearing on stipulating of specially shaped columns. At present, detailed theory study and experiment of short-leg shear wall is short. The main content covered are presented as follows:(1) Short-leg shear wall structure is experimented. The developing of damage region and plastic region and phenomenon are described. The characteritic and process of short-leg shear wall are numbered and its end is sublimated to theory. At the same, the end of experiment giving and the formula of theory model provided in this paper is contrasted and tested and verified and the parameter is numbered.(2) According to the process of destroy and characteristic of short-leg shear wall, the hypothesis of limited damage region, finite plastic region, the model of damage and the mathematics formula are proposed.(3) According to the flexibility-based finite element method adopts the force as the basic variable. For the supposed sectional force, the balance condition will always be strictly satisfied. The theory of flexibility-based method for short-leg shear wall is discussed.(4) The model of elastic-plastic fiber is established on the basis of the flexibility-based finite element method ,which considers shear deformation, damage and geometric nonlinearity. Thus it is suitable for short-leg shear wall. The nonlinear analysis program of flexibility-based method for short-leg shear wall is developed on the basis of the analysis of theory in this paper, which provides a potent way of study the material and geometric nonlinear properties of reinforced concrete shear wall.(5) Simulative analysis of the shape of one, L and T for short-leg shear wall adopts nonlinear analysis program developed in this paper. The stress and deformation of short-leg shear wall is analyzed, which is affected by slice numbers, axial pressure ratio and percentage of reinforcement.
