With the rapid development of the national economy, high-rise buildings emerge in an endless stream, especially the super high-rise buildings. If the water pressure of the fire water supply system exceeds the limit, the water will be wasted, what is worse, it will threat the safety and reliability of the system. At present, "energy saving and emission reduction" is proposed by our government. Make the water quantity and water pressure of fire water supply pipe network in the high-rise building satisfy the china's performance fire code, the overpressure of pipe network can be prevented effectively by means of reducing residual head to avoid that the effluent of fire water supply system is wasted, which corresponds to the spirit of "energy saving and emission reduction". The result of the current calculation for the pressure-relief methods of fire water supply system often greatly contradicts reality, which can make the pipe network's overpressure become easily. Therefore, it is necessary to study the causes of fire water supply pipe network's overpressure and the methods of pressure relief and its calculation.The main points of this thesis:1. Introduce the application of several ordinary measures for pressure relief of fire hydrant system and automatic sprinkler system and analysis their advantages and disadvantages;2. Study and analyze the possibility of the indoor hydrant system's overpressure under the working status of water pump supplying water, then relevant pressure-relief measures is proposed;3. Combined with the working status of water tank water supply at the initial stage of fire and the working status of water pump water supply after 10 minutes, a new method of calculation for the pressure-relief vent plate of indoor hydrant is put forward; 4. Combined with the project example, study the application of commonly used pressure-relief device in the indoor hydrant system, such as pressure-relief vent plate,pressure relief valve and reduced and stable pressure hydrant;5. Study and analyze the causes and hazard of the automatic Sprinkler system's overpressure, then relevant measures of pressure-relief is put forward.
