Application Research On High-rise Building Fire Water Supply System

The fire characteristics in high-rise building determine that the fire water supply facilities inside the building must be designed so that suffered people could save themselves actively.This method is widely employed for its high success rate to extinguish a fire at its initial stage.The fire water supply system is not only an important component in high-rise building fire extinguishing system but also an essential building construction and installation project. This paper is mainly as follows:(1)Fire water supply system in high rise building including the fire water supply system of high-rise building form, over-pressure and pressure relief problem and its reliability are analyzed in this paper. Moreover, the existing problems and countermeasures of fire water supply system in high-rise building are also put forward in it.(2) The fire water supply system of Guangzhou Guangsheng International Building was designed and its types of fire water system and gas fire extinguishing system were analyzed in this paper. The fire water supply system technology of Guangzhou Guangsheng International Building was studied, which included the determination of the building’s fire danger level, the number of fires at the same time, the calculation of water consumption in Guangzhou Guangsheng International Building’s fire water system, the time of continuing fire and the standards of fire water consumption. The classification and partition of fire water system were defined. The fire hydrant system of Guangzhou Guangsheng International Building was designed, which included the components of fire hydrant system, the water supply network layout of fire hydrant, the layout of hydrant, the security settings of fire hydrant water supply system and the hydraulic calculation of fire hydrant system. Finally, the automatic sprinkler system design was discussed.(3) Supply pump is used to pressurize water directly for high-rise building, which is the main water supply equipment of Guangzhou Guangsheng International Building. Once supply pump broke down or power collapsed, water supply would be stopped. In this paper, the gravity water supply firefighting system of Guangzhou Guangsheng International Building was introduced, its basic principle was explained, its application was analyzed and its advantages was also summarized.
