Based on analyzing distance model of urban bus station, applying the theory about minimization of total system cost to establish a new optimized model that aims at minimal vehicle and minimization of total system cost, at last modifying the new optimized model, wishing it can provide theoretic foundation for optimization of bus station.3. The thesis takes one of public traffic line in Xian for example, through actual investigation and collecting data, respectively applying the model of the minimization of the overall passenger's trip time, the model of limited vehicle and the model for multi-goals of minimization of total system cost for optimization and design, calculating optimal amount of bus station to compare and select, getting the conclusion that the model for multi-goals of minimization of total system cost has the best beneficial result.4. At last analyzing the problem about construction of bus station in Xian, offering some improved measures to Xian bus station's construction, At last the models are checked out with simulation programs.
