The brushless DC motor replaces mechanical commutator with electronic one, which overcomes a range of disadvantages of the traditional DC motor caused by the brush friction, it soon becomes research focus in movement control field by its a range of good characteristics such as small size, light weight, high efficiency,small inertia , high accuracy. In recent years, along with Intern(?)t's rapid development, people start to consider that realizes the remote control by introducing the brushless DC motor to the Internet, Hoping that can gets rid of the convention control system's space limitation. But the Internet data transmission can bring in the time delay and the data packet loss, it makes the design of the control system to be more difficult. In this thesis, the design of the brushless DC motor control system based on Internet is researched.Firstly, on the base of studying the characteristics and development of the network and brushless DC motor, and the present situation and prospects of the network control system, the time delay of the network control system which adopted Internet as medium is analyzed. A simplified time delay model is built under several assumptions, then on the base of studying the mathematic model of the brushless DC motor, the simulink model of the brushless DC motor's control system is built with the help of MATLAB6.5. Then the method of realizing the brushless DC motor control system based on Internet is researched. A position examination circuit is designed according the chosed brushless DC motor's characteristic that it has a build-in hall position sensor. The fuzzy PI controller is adopted at the consideration of the time delay's characteristic to control the speed of the brushless DC motor, it makes the control system flexible like fuzzy control system, and precise like normal PI control system. For the hardware part, the DSP-TMS320LF2407 is chosed as the main control chip, after the whole design is completed, several important circuit is elaborated. The software part introduced modulation concept, which included making PWM waveform, switching direction, calculating the speed, building the fuzzy response table, and some flow charts of the software is offered.Finally, the platform of simulation experiment is built according the actual situation, the simulation experiment indicated that the system has ideal rapidity, precision, reliability and anti-disturbance performance which reached the expectation.
