Water supply project is the integrated water project which can be used in agricultural irrigation, rural water supply, waterlogging drainage, inter-basin water transfer and so on by translating the electrical (heat)energy into hydropower.Along with scientific and technological progress and economic development, as well as the increasing requirements of modernization of agriculture to irrigation, drainage and water-saving, the water supply project are playing more and more major role. When it displays its benefit, on the one hand its every year's power consumption approximately occupies the 20%-25% of the Nation. China's pumping stations operating efficiency is generally about 30 percent, lower than the industrialized countries 10% -30%. the other hand, the water hammer accident Occurrences in the water supply project, brings the massive loss for people's life and the production. So, it has great significance the for the security efficient , operation and solving the problem of the shortage of water resources and conservation of energy to analysis the steady-state operation and Calculates the necessary security systems (water hammer) On the pump system. The paper will study the stable-state movement condition, the protection optimization of hammer of system and so on. With the view of providing the technical support for this system stable, safe and the reasonable movement and the automation control system in the Shanxi Province Linyi County against fluorine water supply project system.The paper analyses the operation of the system on the basis of mathematical models for the operation of the system, Establishes the water hammer calculation model under the different measures of water hammer protection under the Method of characteristics of the Hydraulic calculation of the transition process, selected a reasonable numerical calculation method, and developed of a computer analysis system. The following is the main content:(1) The steady-state operation system research under the anti-fluoride water supply project of Linyi County of Shanxi Province. on the basis of mathematical model, the analysis to the system steady-state operation using computer simulation, the analysis of different changes of the water level (the highest level, the lowest level, design level), single pump, as well as the systems steady-state operation Characteristics when various conditions are Paralleled. Provide the theoretical basis for the safety of highly efficient and reliable operation of pumps. (2)The analysis and calculation about water hammer by pump stopped under the anti-fluoride water supply project of Linyi County of Shanxi Province. Then it proposes the optimal protection way under the condition of Safe Operation.(3) Uses interface-related, and the object-oriented visual programming software, Visual Basic 6.0, as the development language, combines with SQL Server 2000 database, and develops a friendly interface, simple, functional and reliable performance pumping station simulation system on Steady-state, and the Numerical Simulation System about Hydraulic transition process.(4) The results above were analyzed and summarized, and proposed new problems to the next step for further research.
