Urban Land Suitable For Development Of Ecological Assessment Method & Research

In the urban overall plan, urban planning policies take the urban land development as a foothold, which determines the urban development level and direction to some extent. With the development of the theory of ecological city, ecological sensitivity and ecological suitability become the foundations of the research on urban land development. Consequently, some scholars have put forward methods for assessing suitability of urban land. However, these methods cannot solve the problem of urban land development. At first, the paper sets up the assessment method for ecological suitability of urban land development. In this chapter, the author presents the principles and methodologies of building ecological factors for urban development.At second, the paper probes into the ecological suitability assessment for land development under the mode of economy balance. From the aspect of balance of regional economic development, the author explores ecological suitability for land development under leading mode of economy balance.At last,the paper investigates ecological suitability for urban land development under ecological consumption. Combined with the concept of ecological consumption, the relationship between ecological utility and economical benefit is under investigation.This paper not only provides some guidance for ecological city development, but also supplies reference to the methods of urban land development.
