How through a series of planning and management tools, urban residential space on the optimized layout reasonable, and promote the city healthy ecological system in improving the life quality of residents, while achieving sustainable urban development and healthy development has become a very important issue.The study is based on the background of the current urbanization process and urban ecological construction, expectations of the professional from the ecological point of view, an integrated geographic information system, land evaluation, planning and so many areas of design theory and technology, combined with latest research results at home and abroad, for the characteristics of urban residential land, urban land spatial layout optimization of the related theoretical research and practical exploration. The results show that:Urban residential area of suitable land for construction is 132.61 km2,18.88% of total land. Mainly in urban areas, transportation routes near the area of ecological sensitivity to small, ecosystem stability and towns less impact on their environment; same services within the region to facilitate a high degree of urban residential areas with significant development advantages.More appropriate for the regional area of 57.57km2,8.20% of total land can be divided into built-up areas restricted mainly to a gentler slope; vegetation canopy density is relatively high or relatively dense river network area. This part of the district's urban construction on the ecological environment has some influence, but the transportation is convenient and close to town regional characteristics, so that position in the area that has some of the advantages of the town is absolutely not suitable for construction of residential areas development.
