As the market develops, the content of the secondary service market grows more deeply. Under the terms of the market, the generator provides reactive power for the safety of the net, so the power must to be priced. This thesis first introduces the research background, the present status of the research and the purpose of the search. Then, introducing methods of reactive power pricing and pointing out the problems they contain. Against the problem, the author put forward the method of reactive power tracing based on power distribution theory. Under the analysis, the reactive power consumption of the power plant, the network and the load comes from generators in the network, and the cost of the generator is not as the same. It deduces the expression of the reactive power distribution considering generator to the problem. The expression clearly points out the origin of the reactive power and the effect of the generator's internal resistance and presents a new evidence for the study on the reactive power pricing. It can be referenced while fixing the price of the reactive power.
