The line loss is a comprehensive technical indicator which weighs and inspects production and management level of power supply enterprise. It is important meaning that theoretical line loss is calculated accurately in time and loss-reducing method is constituted scientifically. Along with the development and application of SCADA, DMS and MIS, the operation information of distribution network can be acquired accurately and roundly in time. The power flow scheme of fast decouple method, newton-raphson method and back/forward sweep method is proposed for different network. The loss-reducing method of optimization of reactive power distributing in network is an emphases of this dissertation. A model of optimization of reactive power is presented, and an improved genetic algorithm is used to solve this model. The result of study case verifies the correction of model and method. Finally, this dissertation analyzes the Chaoyang Electric power company existing engineering condition, designs on-line analysis system. The practical application indicated that this system can promote the standardization of line loss management, and reduce line loss effectively.
