| Currently, the civil aviation flight information service can not satisfy the growing public demand. It is becoming an urgent problem to integrate flight information from different source in order to provide timely, accurate and complete information service for the public.Based on the current status of aviation-related entities'information system and the requirements of the flight data integration , this dissertation focused on the data integration of the civil aviation public information service platform by using XML and middleware and proposed a solution for the problems of the flight service information, such as information scatter, heterogeneous information and incomplete information.This dissertation analyzed the state of data integration technology, introduced the basic theory and related technology of data integration, and elaborated the features of the XML and middleware with their application in the heterogeneous data integration respectively.Being founded on the analysis data sources and their relation of flight information service, the dissertation presented data architecture of data integration system, designed integration framework grounded on XML and middleware. The dissertation also researched a mapping method from XML to relational database, gived the solution and flow of data mapping.Data integration adapter and data integration flow were designed in this dissertation. The programming implementations for formatting XML, receiving data, parsing XML document, mapping data and writing data were also given in this thesis.One of the main purposes of the data integration is to provide complete, accurate and timely flight information service for the public. On the basis of the data integration framework, this dissertation presented a WEB prototype system of flight information service which can provide information such as flight plan, flight trend, airport information and meteorological information, etc.
