Information Infrastructure has became the basis for power suppliers to operate. For a long time, Information system of power suppliers covers most of departments, such as the power transmission and distribution, humer resuources, finance management, customer services. Generally, these systems has something unconveient with system complicance, inter-operatibility and openness. While information systems are built with deep insights, an universal data resource sharing platform become one of most important targets for the information infrastructure constructing of power suppliers, which is complicant with heterogeneous system and achieve the resource sharing and information exchange.First, this paper clarifies the aims and the development process of enterprise information infrastructure building, and recognizes that constructing an data resouces sharing framework is the promising direction of various firms. And, the characteristics and development process of power suppliers' information infrastructure building is summerized and its shortcomings are defined. Naturally, build an data sharing framework of power suppliers is the main target in next stage. Further, the reform of the electric industry brings about higher requirements for power suppliers. Expecially, the data management of power suppliers is told in detail. As a result, data integration is crucious and the necessary strategies are proposed.Second, heterogeousity and its characteristics and its requirements are defined carefully. Data integration is the process of building data sharing infrastructure. The main data integration technologies, including middleware based solution, virtual databases solution and datawarehouse solution, are introduced and compared in detail. And, it is proposed that middleware based solution is the better solution for power suppliers to complete information infrastructure at this stage.Third, the data resources sharing states of Shapingba power supply company isanalyzed and summerized, with the requirements towards data integration. In detail, thefunctional structure, application architecture and phisical strcuture of the target datasharing platform is proposed. Furthermore, introducing XML technology and itscharacteristics into the realization of middleware layer, a example of XML-enabledvirtual data access for equipment information is explained. Necessarily, it is realized toapply middleware in database accessing, and ODBC technology in data sourceconnection and operation.Data resources sharing platform is one of the important targets in enterprise information infrastructure construction process, which needs consistent and hard work. However, it is a necessary and stable basis to achieve higher targets, enhance information process and analysis Therefore, this research is of apparent engineering value. Meanwhile, the research focused on data integration is one of most hot research field, which represents some theoretical value.
