Along With high-rise buildings increasing, elevator is becoming an indispensable transport in people's daily life and work. The performance of elevator system to a large extent depends on the driving performance and its control mode, therefore, the ideal choice of motor and its control mode has played an important role in ideal elevator operation. Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) can be easily used for low-speed direct drive with gear speed reducer omitted. Thus, PMSM is becoming the mainstream of new elevator drag system. On the basis of in-depth analysis of PMSM mathematical model, traditional PI control method and fuzzy control technology are integrated in order to combine their merits and overcome their shortcomings. Thus, a complex controller is constituted which is called fuzzy PI controller. Then Fuzzy PI control is used in speed regulation, and simulation results have shown that the performance of the system has been greatly improved than it in traditional PI control. With the speed sensor difficult installation and maintenance, cost increasing and reliability reducing, speed sensorless control is becoming an important research content. In this paper, two methods which are model reference adaptive system (MRAS) and Extended Kalman Filter algorithm (EKF) are used for speed estimation. In the MRAS speed identification method, PMSM model is used as a reference model, and its current model is used as an adjustable model. Superstability theory and positive dynamic system are used to design the adaptive rule in this paper. Theoretical analysis and simulation results have indicated that the system has good dynamic and static performance. In the EKF algorithm speed estimation, the stator current, the rotor speed and rotor position are state variables, and the stator voltage and current are input and output variables respectively. Simulation results have shown that this method can realize speed real-time estimation. In the final, the hardware circuit with its core DSP TMS 320F2812 and software program are designed.
