The fast development needs the concrete have higher performance, such as higher working performance, higher durability, higher voluminal stability and higher tensile. To meet the need, the working personnel improve the constitut and compound technology of conrete, and present the fiber conrete, the new compound construction material. But with the continual practice of construction, though the conventional fiber can improve the mechanic performance, it will become rusty and have a high price.High tensile polyester fiber, the new fiber developed in Japan in the past few years, is one new envirmenal construction material due to the raw material of it mostly is living rubbish for example drink bottle. Based on a great deal of mechanic tests on ejecting concrete, road concrete and normal concrete, the advance of every mechanics index, such as bending strength, tensile strength, bending temper, compressive strength and otherwise mechanics indexes, of concrete of different high tensile polyester fiber content compared with it of plain concrete are studied in this paper. And limit tensile value, resistance to impact, erosion-resisting and abrasion resistance, and durability etc. are studiecd also. The main conclusion of this paper is the use of high tensile polyester fiber ha ve positive effect on the improvement of mechanic performance and toughness of concrete, and the effect on durability of concrete is little. And compared with the steel fiber, there are some differences on bending strength and toughness index.For the water and electricity engineering, the aspect about toughness index of concrete is paid attention, and most of engineerings aren't eroded by alkali and acid, farther research is needed to be done in using high tensile polyester fiber for water and electricity engineering.
