Reinforced concrete structures have a wide range of applications in civilengineering. Due to environmental pollution and easily corroded of steel bars, thedurability of reinforced concrete structure become prominent day by day. In view ofhigh-strength, corrosion-resistant, good ductility characteristics of the polyester fibermaterials, this paper studied the characteristics of4reinforced concrete beams and19polyester fiber reinforced concrete beams. The main contents include the followingthree aspects:1. It is the experimental research of polyester fiber reinforced concrete beambenchmark that testing and researching of4different reinforcement of reinforcedconcrete beams.2. Through testing5groups(each group of3beams, a total of15beams) ofdifferent reinforcement of polyester fiber reinforced concrete beams, the beams arestudied including crack deflection and deflection, cracking load, failure load, crackcharacteristics and destruction form of beam. The feasibility of polyester fibrereinforcement instead of steel used in the beams is discussed.3. The experimental studies of4mixed reinforcement polyester fiber reinforcedbeams and concrete beams are studied comparatively. The Studies have shown thatthe limit load and limit deflection of mixed reinforcement polyester fiber reinforcedbeams increase. And put forward Suggestions on the polyester fiber reinforcement ofreinforced concrete beam equation.
